Improving Diversity and Representativeness of SWOG Cancer Research Network Clinical Trial Participants
The intent of the DEI Implementation Science Fellowship is to provide a motivated candidate the opportunity to build or further their career within SWOG, and to lead a network-wide project with the potential to impact clinical trials and cancer care for patients everywhere.
Specifically, the fellowship aims to assist in the implementation of training content developed to help increase diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) across SWOG and its trials. The training content is the sixth module in the TeamScience@SWOG curriculum: Improving Diversity and Representativeness of Clinical Trial Participants.
The implementation will be a partnership between the SWOG patient advocate committee and recruitment and retention committee.
