SWOG/Hope Foundation Impact Award
(formerly The SWOG Development Award)
The SWOG/Hope Foundation Impact Award is a funding program from The Hope Foundation that encourages novel and innovative SWOG research by supporting early and conceptual stages of these projects.

It is expected that support via this mechanism will lead to subsequent extramural support from other sources, and will be a metric of success for this grant awarding program. In addition, publications citing SWOG and The Hope Foundation will be further metrics for success of the program.

Dr. Charles A. Coltman, Jr., Fellowship Program
Initiated in 2008, the primary purpose of the Dr. Charles A. Coltman, Jr., Fellowship is to engage outstanding young investigators from SWOG member institutions in learning clinical trial methodology within an academic and cooperative group environment that will lead to independent clinical research, while honoring the legacy of long time SWOG Chair and leader, Dr. Charles Coltman.

This program funds investigators from a current SWOG member institution who have accepted a faculty position. Institutions may nominate up to two candidates annually. The applicant must have a mentorship arrangement with a notable Group leader who has proven expertise in clinical trials recruitment and management.
