We were founded – and are still largely led – by leading cancer physicians. This “for researchers, by researchers” approach means funding decisions are made by the same experts who treat patients and conduct clinical trials to improve their treatment options, so every dollar goes where it can make the greatest difference.

Yes, The Hope Foundation is a 501(c)(3) and all gifts are tax-deductible to the full extend of the law.

Though SWOG is a large network of sites and individual members organized to collaborate on cancer trials, the federal funding that powers the group is comprised of grant dollars from the NCI. It’s not possible to contribute directly to a federal grant, but it’s absolutely possible – and powerful – to give to The Hope Foundation. We exist solely to raise and direct nonfederal support to advance SWOG’s mission.

For more than a generation, The Hope Foundation has funded research and the oncology researchers who drive progress forward.
